Weekly Wrap Up 12/16/22

I think I’ve mentioned this before, but my family celebrates Christmas and my birthday is December 30. Once we hit December 18, the week before Christmas, it always feels like we’ve “made it.” This year, I’m working through December 21 and I am SO READY for my holiday break. Anyone else feeling the same way? Hanukkah also begins on December 19 so I feel like we’re all in this moment of holding our breath before we can relax a little bit.

The exhaustion and lack of focus made reading a little hard this week but I still managed to read three books and a spicy novella from Denise Williams. I’m really excited to do a reading sprint with everyone for #TisTheReadson2022 on Saturday morning at 9am EST. Our book club discussion for A Very Merry Bromance is Tuesday 12/20 at 8:30pm EST. I am so excited to chat about it with everyone!

One goal I have for the rest of the year is to finish the book I put down in the middle of reading them because I got distracted. Believe me, I don’t know how I did it. But I will finish those off ASAP. Did anyone else get the Goodreads version of Spotify Wrapped in their emails this week?

What I Read:

Talk Santa To Me // Write Before Christmas // The Holly Dates // It’s Cold Outside (free in Denise’s Newsletter)

Weekend Plans:

My weekend is well balanced between time to relax for the last three work days of the year and on the busy side. We’re having a little holiday party and I have a photoshoot for a show I’m working on. Plus it’s a big Saturday Night Football game for our Bills.

I’m trying to stay positive and focused on the end of the year. I am so.tired. and it’s been making it really hard for me to get everything done that I need to get done. But, I know it will all be worth it when I have those gorgeous 12 days off. Stay strong, my friends! We’ve got this!
