Weekly Wrap Up 11/11/22
This was a week of Hallmark Christmas movies, voting and lots of CNN coverage (I’m a fan of John King, sorry Steve Kornacki), and sneaking in time to read for self care. It’s bath season so I’ve really enjoyed making time in the evenings to read and relax with some ambiance and stay off my phone. But my schedule has been packed so it’s been harder than I want it to be! This is when I romanticize the Fall of 2020 because we were home every night and weekend.
Who's ready to feel holly jolly? I am ready to get into the holiday spirit in a big way! I started to get my office ready to decorate, read some festive books, and started my Christmas shopping as well. And on top of alllll of that, I am still working away on my NaNoWriMo goal. 11 days down, 19 to go!
Before we get into what I was up to this week, I want to extend a virtual hug and support to any of my readers in Texas, Georgia, Ohio, and Florida. I know the gubernatorial races did not turn out the way we hoped in these states, and in so many more, but I really do think change in coming. So many young people turned out to vote! Voters 18-29 voted overwhelmingly blue and that gives me hope. Right now, we need to continue to be there for the most vulnerable, especially our trans and LGBTQ+ friends in Florida. I’m not giving up. Always here for anyway who needs a listening ear.

Weekend Plans:
It is another super busy weekend in the theater for Nick and I. Our senior students have shows (Little Shop of Horrors!) and I’ve got a pretty big audition. In between that, I’ll be reading and trying to rest! Have a great weekend and don’t forget to take care of yourselves.
