Pages As Planes: Snowed In
It’s no secret that when it comes to Romance, I love a good forced proximity/snowed in trope. I haven’t put together a Pages as Planes In a while so I thought it would be fun to do one that focuses on this fun trope of mine as we get into the snowiest time of year. Truthfully, I don’t know if I’d ever really want to be snowed in (though I have experienced it before) but I certainly love it in Romance!
So grab your hot cocoa or wine and snuggle in for these fun, tropetastic snowed in Romances!
Snowed In by Rachel Hawthorne
A little snowed in YA! So if you’re not someone who likes a spicy Romance, this is for you. A Texas girl moves to a small town in the middle of Lake Michigan—like crazy small—and meets an absolutely irresistible boy.
Jingle Wars by R. Holmes and Veronica Eden
One of my favorites! The pacing of this book isn’t perfect but it really leans into the enemies to lovers trope and the snowed in moment is chef’s kiss perfection. On KU!
Let It Snow by Jeanette Grey
It’s the nice before Christmas and the weather is certainly frightful. Two employees are trapped in a bookstore overnight, trading secrets and eventually kisses. A super quick novella!
Christmas Kisses by Farrah Rochon
A holiday romance collection made up of two stories! One is set at Christmas in Italy (dreamy) and the other is a second chance romance set in Colorado. Available on KU!
Frigid by Jennifer L. Armentrout
A little friends to lovers when two lifelong friends are trapped together at a posh ski resort.
Redemption by Kenya Wright
This seems like it’s a blend of dark romance elements, so if you’re looking for something with a little edge, this might be the books for you!
Just for the Holidays by Adriana Herrera
Our main character is snowed in with someone she must resist, but the tension is off the charts.
Booked for Christmas by Lily Menon
Another super cute novella! A Christmas party, enemies to lovers, and getting trapped together in the nasty weather leads to a hot holiday.
Snow Falls by Gerri Hill
“Jennifer Kincaid, on her way to a writer's workshop in the Colorado mountain town of Lake City, gets lost and is stranded by an avalanche.
Catherine Ryan-Barrett, running from the fame and fortune of her family name, wants nothing more to spend the winter alone and sequestered in her high mountain cabin. She is not prepared for a party crasher.

One Bed for Christmas by Jackie Lau
A super quick friends to lovers novella that forces two friends to confront the feelings they’ve had for each other for years.
