February Bucket List
The monthly bucket lists are back! I should probably do a little reflection at the end of the month with what I’ve done from this list. January is always the longest month of the year and the transition back to “real life” from the holidays feels extra difficult. 2022 made is particularly hard. In January, I focused on the word “restore.” I wanted to restore order and routine into my life. In February, I want to focus on little joys!
Read a Book in a Day
I make this a goal every month and I haven’t achieved it in quite some time so I really want to focus on it in February once my show closes!
Go Ice Skating
I wanted to do this in December but due to the Omicron variant, stayed close to home. Hopefully this month we’ll feel safe enough to be able to enjoy it!
Send Valentine’s Cards
I love snail mail and I didn’t send any last year so I want to send some this year!
Have Rom Com Marathon
There’s nothing like a good Rom Com. Some of my favorites to watch are The Proposal, The Hating Game, Sweet Home Alabama, and To All the Boys I Loved Before.
Bake Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
I didn’t make as many Christmas cookies this year but I love to bake so I want to try a new recipe this year! Maybe throw in some red and pink M'&M’s.
Go on a Ski Weekend/Cabin Getaway
I love spending time at home September-December because it’s so cozy but I am dying to get away and enjoy a cozy cabin weekend. I’m not sure if we’ll be able to get away to Lake Placid like I want to but we do have a great little ski town about an hour and a half from us that is great for a day trip!
Read 2 Kindle Unlimited Romances
I read Romance all year long but it feels extra special during the month of love!
Write 1500 Words for 28 Days
I shared my 2022 Writing Goals last month and I have a lot I want to do this year. I was very successful during NaNoWriMo and that challenge to write everyday for 30 days. So I’m going to a little Febru-wrimo to motivate myself!
Meditate and do some kind of Movement for 28 Days
I’ve been struggling with my mental and physical health for some time and I really resonate with a challenge. So i’m going to meditate and do some form of movement in addition to my walks with Beasley. Whether it’s Yoga I find on YouTube, a bike ride, or dance cardio, I just need to MOVE. My mental health is always better for it.
