My September Bullet Journal Spread

One of my goals for 2021 was to stop putting so much pressure on myself. So I picked up a new hobby that is fun and satisfies my creative side while also keeping me organized on some goals. Bullet Journaling is a low pressure way to make my need for everything to be organized feel creative and fun.

I use my BuJo to track my reading and writing. Shocking, I know. But I like to keep it simple and fun. I’m not an artist by any means so if you’ve ever been intimidated by the elaborate bullet journals, I hope this shows you that you need to be a gifted artist to keep one.

I like to keep things color coordinated so I’ll choose the color themes related to the month and then keep those colors out of my massive pen pouch so they don’t get lost.

I’m always so grateful to the publishers who send me early copies of the books I can’t wait to read. This is how I keep track of what I need to read and review by their publication date! I also mark if it will make it onto my seasonal reading guides.

On top of my must read ARCs, I also leave space for my “extras” aka the books I really want to get to that month. I’ve already read three on this spread so that’s a huge win for me!

On the opposite side, I track my writing. My goal is to write 1000 words or for 1 hour a day. I’ve been doing okay in September so we’ll have to check back in at the end of the month to see my progress!

And here are some FAQ’s about my simple little Bujo:

  1. Where is the hydrangea pouch and booksleeve from? Once Upon a Library on Etsy! It’s a custom pouch and sleeve so choose the fabric you want and Kailee can make it happen!

    Order Pouch // Order Sleeve

  2. Where Is your journal from? It’s from Michael’s! It was $10 and I didn’t want to make a huge investment in case I didn’t stick with it. But one day I’d love to get an Archer and Olive one!

Michael’s Bullet Journal // Archer and Olive

  3. What supplies do you use? A simple marker set from Crayola and any stickers I can find! I look at Etsy, Redbubble, and whatever craft stores I find myself in. Just look around and see what you like!

    Set of 80 Colored Markers

  4. Where is the ACOTAR quote sticker from? “Only you can decide what breaks you.” sticker is from Redbubble!

Only You Can Decide What Breaks You

I hope that answers any questions you’ve had! If you have any others, let me know and I’m happy to answer them! Do you keep a journal of any kind?
