Mother's Day Gift Guide: For the Mom Who Reads
I know Mother’s Day can be tough for so many people for different reasons, so please know I am sharing this with that understanding and the utmost respect for all those who have lost or have difficult relationships with. their mothers, those who have lost children, and those struggling with infertility.
Since starting my blog, I’ve been able to connect with some fantastic people. I’ve made friends that I can’t imagine my life without and a number of them are mothers. They give me hope that even when we begin to grow our family, I’ll still be able to find time to read!
For all the reading mamas if your life, here are some fun gift ideas to celebrate all they do for us!
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Book Subscription Service: Lots of options linked below! It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Most can choose between 3-12 months.
Private Browsing at an Indie Bookstore: I know some stores started doing this during the Pandemic and it could be a special time!
Kindle: I have the Paperwhite and here’s a post all about my experience with it! I know so many moms who love to use it, especially if they’re breastfeeding and up all throughout the night. The light isn’t too bright and distracting for a baby.
AirBnB Gift Card/Night at a Hotel: Alone time to read! I specifically asked some of my mom friends for advice on this one and overwhelming they said they’d just love some alone time at an AirBnB or a hotel. What a fun idea!
Wine Subscription: Like the book subscription, this could be another gift that keeps on giving for a couple months! Winc and Bright Cellars are great options.
Fun Accessories: Reading socks, a mug, a candle that smells like the Duke of Hastings for any Bridgerton loving mama, and a bath caddy for optimal relaxing reading time!
