Weekly Wrap Up 10/15/21
I am going to dub this The Week of No Sleep. I don’t know if it was Mercury in Retrograde or what, but I could not sleep this week. I did appreciate having a lazy day on Monday (rest is productive sometimes!) and it was a pretty good work week, but I was just so tired! But the leaves did finally start to turn so hopefully consistent cooler weather is also on its way!
I did start Christmas shopping so that felt good. Nick’s birthday is the first week of November so I always feel like I have to get through that celebration before I get into the holiday shopping, but this year I’m feeling the stress!
Here’s what I was up to this week!
What I Read:
The Legacy // A Christmas at Gingerbread Falls // Always Only You // Nick and Noel’s Christmas Playlist
Currently Reading:
Purchases of the Week:
Plaid Dog Bandana // Book Darts
Got My Eye On:
Feeling all the plaid! I can’t link the Tartan Nap Dress yet but they are releasing their Holiday Collection on October 20!
Fair Isle Sweater // Holiday PJs // Plaid Headband // Amor Actually // Acrylic Headband Rack //
Recipe of the Week:
Italian (Postponed) Wedding Soup, which is one of our favorites!
Listening & Watching:
Articles & Videos:
This was a pretty scroll free week for me! I did a lot of reading and relaxing, trying to stay off my phone as much as possible. My screen time was UP and I was feeling down about it.
I highly recommend joining Amber’s journal challenge on her Patreon! I’ve been journaling every morning again for about 3 weeks and I can’t believe I ever stopped. It helps me so much.
Another Patreon I recommend is Morgan’s! When I tell you I love Morgan’s content…I LOVE her content. And her! She also recently hit 10k followers on Instagram and I’m so excited for her!
I have no idea if anyone cares, but I’ve been posting on TikTok a lot more lately and I kind of love it.
Weekend Plans:
We are doing ALL the Fall things this weekend! Since we had to lay low while B recovered from surgery, this weekend we plan on finally checking a bunch of things off of our Fall bucket list. We’re going to go to a pumpkin patch, the cider mill, and do a corn maze with friends. I am actually so excited! And of course, lots of reading. Some excited things coming to the podcast!
