Cozy Fall Essentials

I know I’m a broken record every month, but it is truly astounding how fast time moves in a pandemic. The days are slow are the months are short. As September comes to a close and cooler temps are consistently upon us, I wanted to round up some of my favorite cozy essentials for Fall and Winter.

I love all of these things to enhance my reading life and remember to take care of myself when life starts to feel overwhelming.

Mug

We know I love a good mug! #readandrise

The City Baker’s Guide to Country Living by Louise Miller

I started this book on Sunday because I’ve been rewatching Gilmore Girls!

An Autumn Crush

I haven’t read this series yet, but there is a book for all four seasons!

The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter

Looking for something perfect for October? Look no further!

Doormat

I mean, how cute. I want it for our balcony!

Buffalo Plaid Throw

We know i love gingham in the spring and summer. In the winter, I love using some buffalo plaid accents throughout our home!

Bath Bomb/Shower Bomb

When I graduated from college, I became a big fan of baths. I didn’t have them in my last two NYC apartments, but we have one now! Even if you don’t have a bath, I highly recommend dimming the lights, lighting a candle, putting on some soothing music, and getting in the shower or bath at the end of the day. Like in my writing routine, it’s such a great way to “transition” when you’re feeling overwhelmed.

What’s your favorite way to get cozy?
