Weekly Wrap Up 5-8-20

It’s May! How did this happen? I feel like it’s going to be perpetually March in my head. Especially since it’s still so cold and dreary here. Apparently we’re going to get snow (or at least very cold temps) this weekend?! I can’t believe it. It’s currently gloomy and cold but I’m feeling so happy that I can’t complain.

My best friend and Maid of Honor sent me these beautiful flowers this week and they brightened up my life a bit! There’s nothing like fresh flowers.

This was a weird week for reading. I am between so many stories because I feel like I can’t concentrate on anything but I’m also so excited about so many books!

Books Read: American Royals II: Majesty by Katharine McGee and OMG GUYS. IT’S EVEN BETTER THAN BOOK ONE. It’s not out until September 1 so I’ll save my full review for then but OMGGG. I loved it. Thank you Ramdon House for my early copy!

Currently Reading: Hollywood Park on audio—Thank you Libro.fm! Tourist Attraction—Thank you Source Books! The Heart’s Invisible Furies

Watching: RuPaul’s Drag Race (a fav—you can watch via VH1!), Becoming on Netflix—It had me weeping. I admire Michelle Obama so much, Pirates of the Caribbean—Nick and I rewatched all of them and it was so fun! I hadn’t seen them in so long! I remember swooning over Orlando Bloom in 5th grade lol. They’re all on Disney+ and it’s a fun distraction down memory lane. I forgot Johnny Depp was nominated for an Oscar for his role at Jack Sparrow and honestly, he deserved it. It bummed me out even more that he turned out to not be such a great person.

I’m writing again! My goal is to finish the first draft of my book by the end of August. I am so excited and feeling so inspired. I’ve been watched Christine Ricco’s writing videos and they’ve kept me accountable for writing and staying motivated. It is possible.
