My "Lazy" Bullet Journal

I have always had a love for planners. I used to decorate mine so elaborately with a different theme in high school and then transferred to a Lilly Planner when I went to college. Every August, I look forward to choosing my new Lilly agenda print!

When the Bullet Journaling trend began cropping up, I decided that there was absolutely no way I could do it. I’m way too Type A to have to create something free hand. I like structure! I’m a control freak! I was so intimidated by the elaborate spreads and gorgeous handwriting. What can I say, I’m an Enneagram 3—I don’t like doing anything I can be the best!

While in isolation, I’ve been feeling like I’ve been going back and forth between needing a clear schedule and process or if I need to just take each day as it comes. Now that we’ve really settled in to #quarantinelife, I’ve been finding myself turning to creative outlets more and more to give my mind some structure.

Therefore, I started what I call “Lazy Bullet Journaling” and honestly…I’m starting to think I may make the plunge and actually start a traditional bullet journal!

I had an old Kate Spade journal that I decided to use! I couldn’t find the exact one but I’ve found a similar one here.

There are no rules when it comes to creativity and I’ve found the process to be extremely therapeutic and relaxing! My lazy bujo is to keep track of my reading life! What I’m reading each month, when I have to read it by, if I’ve reviewed it, and how many pages a day I need to get through.

I have always hoarded office supplies (I think I’m finally too old to refer to them as school supplies) so I was well stocked with fun pens and I have plenty of stickers! But I found some that are similar if you are interested!
