Weekly Wrap Up 12-4-20
The first week of December always feels so magical. The holiday cheer is just beginning and the month feels endless. I know it will pick up and fly by, but this week reminded me that even in the darkest days of 2020, we can always find the light.
We had such a magical Thanksgiving weekend. We both had to work a little bit, but also were able to enjoy some festive movies and books.
I just wanted to thank all of your for your support. As we start this final month of this very long year, the greatest thing that has happened has been this community. I’m so unbelievably grateful.
Here what I was up to this week:
Books Finished
Jingle Wars, Snow in Love, Troubles In Paradise, Tower of Dawn, The White Christmas Inn, Forever Wild
Currently Reading
From Blood and Ash, In a Holidaze
I’ve heard this is a steamy fantasy romance, heavy on the romance and I can’t wait to fall into another world!
Shopping
Aerie PJs—These are my new favorite. They are SO SOFT. I got the NYC print but I think any in this style would be perfect for a gift!
We have a code for my Merry Bookmas Crewneck! Use READANDWRIGHT for 15% off your order from BookChick T-Shirts. You can use it on anything on the site!
I got another crewneck for myself with all the characters from the ACOTAR series. OOPS.
Miscellaneous
This Bookstack Ornament from Target is SO CUTE! It is the perfect addition to the tree I put in my study.
Vlogmas
Anyone else a huge fan of vlogs? I fell into YouTube the year I graduated from college and became obsessed. Two of my friends are doing Vlogmas this year, which means they are posting every day until Christmas. It’s so magical and festive and honestly, really comforting. Check out Amber, who is one of my best and very favorite people! And Morgan, who I found through her videos and am now lucky enough to call a friend! One of my biggest supporters since I started Read & Wright is also doing Bookmas! Meag has been a loyal reader for years and her channel is almost at 1k subscribers—please subscribe to her channel and say that I sent you. It would mean so much!
Weekend Plans
Cleaning, organizing, and holiday shopping! I’m not really in the gift mood this year. I just want to be with my family this year, so it’s been hard to want to shop. Anyone else?
