Weekly Wrap Up 10-23-20

When I tell you it rained every.single day this week, I am not exaggerating. I love a rainy day, especially when I have nothing to do. But this week was jam packed with deadlines (hello Q4) and my sleep schedule got alllll out of whack. But, I will say, I think the week turned out really great.

I’ve been getting better about making a meal plan for the week and it has made the days feel so much more manageable because I’m not scrambling to throw something together. It’s something fun for Nick and I to sit down and do together, plus it just gives me a little more structure. Did you know I love structure?

Here’s what I was up to this week.

Books Read: Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell—review coming soon!

Currently Reading: Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas—Yes, I am full back in the Throne of Glass universe and things are definitely heating up!

Book Purchased: From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout—100% influenced by Ashley.

Candles: I will dub this the week of candles. I found these two amazing and affordable candles from Target, aka my happy place. Yes, holiday decor is coming out! This one from Hearth & Hand reminds me of the Nest holiday candle and their classic Soy Candle in Balsam Fir. I couldn’t find the exact one online, but here’s a similar option!

I also ordered the holiday sampler pack from Antique Candles and while they haven’t arrived yet, i can 100% guarantee they will be a new obsession of mine.

Meals: Here’s our meal plan from the week! We love easy, simply recipes that don’t take a ton of time cause we’d rather hang out together! Let me know by commenting on this post if you’d like any of the recipes.
