2019 Reading Challenge Update

June has been a month of tough reads. Not tough in the sense that they are hard to get through, but I really challenged myself to get through some mammoth tombs this month. It hasn’t slowed my pace too badly, but I definitely feel like I’m not reading as quickly as I normally do. It doesn’t help that we are moving and have A LOT of exciting plans coming up.

I just wanted to throw together a little update on my 2019 reading challenge since we are halfway through the year! How crazy is that? I feel like it’s going to be December before we know it.

I challenged myself to read 80 books this year, and as of June 17th, 2019 I have read 44! So I am definitely more than halfway through and have a stack of books to get through.

Books I can’t wait to read the rest of this month: Us Against You, A Man Called Ove, The Great Alone, The Islanders, The Mother in Law, Montauk, and Summer of ’69! But after these, I think I’m going to need to go on a SERIOUS light, fluffy, YA kick.
