7 Fall Books I Can't Wait to Read this Autumn
One thing about me, I am going to read along with the seasons. There’s nothing better than finding a book that fits the vibe of the weather outside or the time of year you’re hoping to emulate. Especially when the heat of Summer hangs on into September, sometimes you need to create the pumpkin spice vibes for yourself.
When it comes to Fall books, I am looking for cozy small town romances, dense literary fiction, and thought provoking, heart-wreanching memoirs. On this list you’ll find some Kindle Unlimited Romances and two memoirs I am so excited to get the audiobooks for.

I am fascinated by women in the news. I think in another life I would have wanted to be a host on a show like Good Morning America or World News Tonight. Connie Chung’s memoir drops September 17, 2024 and takes the reader on a behind the tour of her life as she broke into the white, male dominated workforce that is journalism and the news.

Be Ready when the Luck Happens by Ina Garten
I think this might be my most anticipated book of the year. I have always loved Ina and The Barefoot Contessa so I am really looking forward to getting to know more about her! it comes out October 1, 2024 and I will diving right in the second it’s in my hands. I think it will be a very popular holiday gift as well!

This is the follow up to last year’s TikTok viral The Pumpkin Spice Cafe and I am so excited for a cozy, fun, bookstore romance! I think there’s a little mystery element to it as well.

Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter
I feel like Lynn Painter has blown up in the last couple years but I remember being intrigued by the cover of this book when I saw it on Instagram in 2022. I also love the premise of a mistaken identity and the stakes it adds to a romance! The mistaken identity occurs in a coffee shop when Izzy takes a coffee meant for an Amy but she ends up having a meet cute moment that ends with “See you tomorrow, Amy,” and a lie is born.

This cover SCREAMS fall to me. There’s something delicious about a Fall day at the lake and this friends to lovers romance is a perfect addition to my Fall TBR.

I’ve followed Caroline Frank for a while on Instagram and recently saw her promote this book, which made me excited to see! I think it might be her debut but it’s a brother’s best friend trope which is one of favorites.

Clarence Manor by Devney Perry
A friend of mine has been hyping this book to me for years and I think this is finally the Fall I read it. I just downloaded the audiobook and I’m excited! It’s a new adult, college novel which feels perfect for back-to-school season. It’s also been comped to Gossip Girl which is another quintessential Fall show to me.
